新华社布宜诺斯艾利斯11月13日电（记者王钟毅）为期两天的第三届南美功夫锦标赛13日在阿根廷首都布宜诺斯艾利斯落幕，来自阿根廷、巴西、哥伦比亚等11个国家和地区的500多名运动员参赛。
南美武术联合会主席卡·迪亚斯在接受记者采访时表示，这场比赛对于全南美的武术爱好者来说是一场盛大的节日。武术不仅能锻炼人的筋骨，还能坚强人的意志。
迪亚斯表示，在中国武术协会的协调下，南美有很多武术运动员曾前往中国学习和比赛。其中，不少运动员学成归来在学校担任体育教师，在本地推广武术运动与文化。“对于每个武术运动员和爱好者来说，前往中国学习或者比赛，就像实现梦想一样。”（完）
